• Best food: Deer stew, Minced meat sauce, Carrot soup, Queen's jam

What to Look For

• Copper : Look for shiny golden boulders throughout the forest. If you are skilled at dodging, you can bait Trolls to mine copper for you and bypass the need for a Bronze pickaxe early on.
• Tin : Look for small "shinier" rocks along the coastlines and riverbanks.
• Surtling core : found in Burial Chambers, stone structures guarded by skeletons. Needed to build the Smelter and Charcoal Kiln.
• Carrot Seeds : Pick the small white flowers to start your first farm using a Cultivator.
• Haldor the Trader: Look for a money bag icon on your map. He spawns in the Black Forest and sells the Megingjord (a belt that increases carry weight) and the Dverger Circlet (a head-mounted light for dungeons).
